serves: 1-2

Nothing screams "summer" louder than hot pink, ice cold, crisp, dripping, refreshing watermelon... right?
The only thing screaming even louder is a pink, ice cold, crisp, dripping, refreshing WATERMELON ICE CREAM!
I am not one to complain about warmth and sunshine and any excuse to sit by the pool… but sometimes you just need to cool down.

Ingredients
2 cups cubed watermelon, frozen
1 peeled and chopped banana, frozen
a splash of blood-orange juice to get the blender going (optional)
also:
- a high-speed blender or food processor (NO NEED FOR AN ICE CREAM MAKER!)
Instructions
Add your frozen banana pieces to a blending machine (high-speed blender or food processor) and blend.
Add frozen watermelon pieces, and blend blend blend, baby.
Blend until there are no frozen fruit chunks in it any more (unless you like that).
Using a spatula, spoon or fancy-pansy ice cream scoop, transfer into a dessert bowl, and dig in.
Sit by the pool or in bed, wrapped in your favourite snugly blanket (like i am right now), and enjoy your summer ice cream!
Thank you so much to Christine from Must Love Home AND to the ladies from the Homemade Link Party for featuring me this week! So thrilled right now :)
Note: This is part of my raw vegan Ice Cream Galore this month!
