Quick 3-ingredient ice cream without ice cream maker

Preparation time: 10 mins + 3 hours freezing time
Main ingredients: banana, cinnamon, cocoa
difficulty level: easy
serves: 1
suitable for: vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, nut-free, paleo, raw food, and delicious "even so"

Alright, so this is basically a combination of Vanilla ice cream, Chocolate ice cream and cinnamon. In other words: it's awesome.

Ingredients

Vanilla base:
4 large ripe bananas, frozen
1 tsp vanilla extract OR 2 tsp agave syrup

Cocoa swirl:
half of the vanilla base (see above)
1-2 tbsp cocoa powder or carob - i'm using 1 generous tbsp cocoa

1/2 - 1 tsp cinnamon powder, to your liking

also:
- a high-speed blender or food processor (NO NEED FOR AN ICE CREAM MAKER!)

Instructions

To make the base, peel and cut your bananas into pieces. Freeze for a couple of hours on a plate or in a little plastic bag. Add some sweetener or vanilla if you like and blend - pushing or scraping down the nanas when they stick to the side - until beginning to form a creamy mass.

Transfer half the amount into your bowl and place in the refrigerator or freezer.

Add your cocoa or carob to the remaining half in the blender and blend until smooth. Now fill your second half of nicecream on top of the other and mix it together, creating a nice swirl of vanilla and chocolate flavour! Add in your cinnamon as you churn the ice cream *. Now enjoy :)

* This would be even more delicious with a drizzle of chocolate maca sauce or caramel cream i imagine... mmmmh!

Note: This is part of my raw vegan Ice Cream Galore!
